A year after being charged with domestic abuse, Braves player Marcell Ozuna was detained on suspicion of drunk driving.

 According to Gwinnett (Georgia) County records, Marcell Ozuna, who missed the Atlanta Braves' run to the 2021 World Series championship after being placed on administrative leave due to a domestic-violence incident, was pulled over early on Friday morning for drunk driving. Police in Norcross detained 31-year-old Ozuna for driving while intoxicated and making an improper lane change. At 4:39 in the morning, he was taken into custody and freed shortly after 8 in the morning after posting bond.
