American actress Anne Heche has reportedly been critically injured after her car crashed into a house in Los Angeles and burst into flames. On a residential street in Mar Vista, NBCLA reports that the driver was travelling at a high speed when the blue Mini Cooper slammed into a two-story home, ploughing 30 feet into the ground. Authorities in his hometown say he was severely burned, according to local news reports. Officers believe the car may have hit a kerb and was 2ft off the ground when it crashed through the front of the house.
