A year after being charged with domestic abuse, Braves player Marcell Ozuna was detained on suspicion of drunk driving.

 According to Gwinnett (Georgia) County records, Marcell Ozuna, who missed the Atlanta Braves' run to the 2021 World Series championship after being placed on administrative leave due to a domestic-violence incident, was pulled over early on Friday morning for drunk driving. Police in Norcross detained 31-year-old Ozuna for driving while intoxicated and making an improper lane change. At 4:39 in the morning, he was taken into custody and freed shortly after 8 in the morning after posting bond. Following a catastrophic vehicle accident that put Anne Heche in a coma, she was "not expected to survive."

 Anne Heche is "not expected to survive" after sustaining a "serious anoxic brain injury" in a car accident last week, according to a statement Heche's publicist provided to USA TODAY on Thursday. The 53-year-old star is still very ill and in a coma. The statement reads, "It has always been her wish to donate her organs and she is being maintained on life support to see if any are viable." In a statement, the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital in Los Angeles is thanked for its "committed team and amazing nurses that cared for Anne." The statement reads, "Anne had a big heart and impacted everyone she encountered with her kind nature. More than her exceptional talent, she considered it her life's purpose to inspire kindness and joy, especially by promoting acceptance of who you love. In certain areas of the region, the storm dropped as much as 141 millimetres (5.5 inches) of water every hour. Anne Heche: Actress 'critically hurt' after car crashes into house and bursts into flames

American actress Anne Heche has reportedly been critically injured after her car crashed into a house in Los Angeles and burst into flames. On a residential street in Mar Vista, NBCLA reports that the driver was travelling at a high speed when the blue Mini Cooper slammed into a two-story home, ploughing 30 feet into the ground. Authorities in his hometown say he was severely burned, according to local news reports. Officers believe the car may have hit a kerb and was 2ft off the ground when it crashed through the front of the house. It was later revealed that Heche had been driving the same vehicle that was later pictured with extensive damage.   Image source It took 59 firefighters 65 minutes to access, contain, and completely extinguish the stubborn flames within the heavily damaged structure after the crash.
