Chicago Air and Water Show

  • This weekend, Chicago will once again host an annual tradition as the annual Air and Water Show takes place on Lake Michigan.
  • Every year, the show, which has been a mainstay in the city since 1959, draws hundreds of thousands of tourists, and this summer's festival will be the first full-scale performance since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
  • The majority of the action happens along North Avenue Beach, which is near the Lincoln Park district of Chicago and the Lake Michigan shoreline.
  • Weather permitting, the event begins on Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m. and lasts until 2 p.m.
